Richard founded SRD in 1985 as a small creative agency where local businesses got undivided attention and uncompromising design work. Twenty-odd years strong, Richard has proven to be the driving force behind SRD’s evolution to a studio recognized for award-winning design and web development. Today’s SRD identifies and implements branding and marketing solutions for print and web applications. Richard now oversees a new generation of uncompromising work for mid-sized clients that stand out from the competition. Richard holds a BFA from Marist College.

Skilled at complex information design, focused on each client’s unique needs, Blaine delivers with hands-on work, supportive leadership, and inspired enthusiasm. Blaine graduated with a BFA degree from Alfred University.

Now back home in Saratoga Springs, quiet retreats down familiar trails provide the balance. Bordering the Adirondack Mountains’ 9400 square miles is "The Blue Line," a circle Blaine prefers to the Washington beltway.
';slivingstonNameTitle='Scott’s work is distinguished by both a sophisticated design aesthetic and a rock-solid foundation in web standards and CSS. Every web project benefits from Scott’s double-edged comprehensive approach: On one hand is a meticulous appreciation of form and function, while the counterbalance is always the most efficient web methodologies for the task. Scott’s discipline allows him to bring elegant solutions to content management and custom web applications. Scott studied graphic design at Alfred University.
Our modern Tower of Babel is web design. Today’s tower houses designers, clients, and critters who write code. Communicating effortlessly with all three is Scott. Stress is nothing for Scott. He goes home and starts another home project that begins with a savage attack on a wall in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Art came to her early, finding a focused 12-year-old who delighted in creating illustrations accompanied to strains of classical music. Her textural fascination and an infectious creative passion help Amber to take every assignment to an unexpected level. In addition to her degree in Graphic Design from Sage College, Amber holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Le Moyne College.
Sure. Go ahead. Ask the question- Where did the Le Moyne thing come in, the BS in Biology thing. In truth, it’s perfectly sensible, entirely reasonable once you meet Amber’s “quirky” side, the gift from her Dad. The science of medicine offers health where once was illness. And so Amber’s art inspires something… brighter. Both, in her words, are "An outcome I created."
';bcassNameTitle='Ben goes home to write code to relax after work. Completely at ease building sites from the inside out, Ben came to SRD with the ability to easily switch between tasks while maintaining his focused intensity. The breadth of his expertise crosses the complex disciplines of server management, backend programming, web site construction, database management, and Email setup and distribution. Ben received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Network Administration from SUNY Cobleskill.
The force driving Ben is measured in gigahertz. At 8 he collected parts to build a computer. Two years later Ben had 742 parts that would not work and one store-bought Tandy that did. By 10 he doodled in Spreadsheet and Q-Basic. Then, like all 13 year olds, Ben discovered Compuserve and the Internet. Now an adult, his ambition is to throw out 21 cartons of parts.
';rmilstreyNameTitle='Ray approaches the universe of computer language with confidence and the curiosity to seek out the next advance. His easy manner and command of code makes him a natural for both the internet and SRD. It’s his innate and effortless approach that transforms a designer’s vision to an electric reality. Ray’s comfort with the dialogue of ideas is perfectly balanced by his fluency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Ray has a degree in Computer and Networking Systems from Schenectady College.
You experience Ray’s intuitive way when he walks you through the simple genius of the external wooden staircase affixed to the Tower of London. The winding steps stop one story short of the ground level so attackers can’t get to it. And should a defender discover a nuisance on the stairs, just set fire to the thing, problem solved. Functional, practical… and yet elegant.
';cburdenNameTitle='Carey lives to write, and writes to live. A spelling bee champ, avid blogger, and compulsive copyeditor, she is a self-professed "word nerd." The only thing she loves more is fashion, and with clothes she knows every stitch counts. Each thread carries its weight in a garment; too many flaws and the piece falls apart. She applies this same passion and attention to detail to her writing. Carey believes that all copy, big or small, has the potential for greatness.
Carey has a background in research, writing, and editing. She studied Political Science at Hollins University with aspirations of speechwriting. But politics are too dirty, and Carey doesn’t like to fight dirty. Maybe only with her kitten, Eli, but we all know that’s not going to be a fair fight.
