Eight years ago Shannon-Rose Design branded the Lakes to Locks Passage. This included creating the name, slogan, logos and design standards. We also designed all the interpretive signage and brochures. At that time we didn’t build Websites, and we were sorely disappointed with what the development company’s result – which we had no part in. When the project was brought up for bid once again in 2008, we eager for the chance.
This time we had a few tourism Websites under our belt, including www.44lakes.com and www.visitalleghenypartners.com – and we felt that we had the design and web production skills to win this job. It seemed the committee agreed and and awarded us the job.
We used our Flash map navigation system and Janet Kennedy, from Lakes to Locks, provided all the copy for the site. You can see the results for yourself at www.lakestolocks.com
