Greno Homepage Design

Greno Industries is an amazing metal fabrication shop in Scotia, NY. Enormous CNC machinery is located throughout their facility that can shave huge blanks of stainless to turbine blade tolerances. If you’re into manufacturing like we are, a walk through their building is a little slice of heaven. On July 30, their new website went live.

Tollerences are specified for each machine

This site gives a broad overview of their capabilities, what types of projects they work on, and specialties they compete in. We developed information visually so visitors to the site seeking specific information about size envelopes and other capabilities could find what they needed quickly and efficiently.

As usual, we included a news page based on WordPress blog tools. Shannon-Rose Developed the entire site using WordPress CMS, which has become our defacto way to build web content management tools. But you won’t find a blog-looking website here; we customed designed it to look just like any other site. We created custom features that work in tandem with WordPress, such as a custom Gallery, and a homepage slideshow.

A feature that we picked up from the Guyson.com site was reworked to allow tagged posts to appear as realated items on specific pages. This allows a user to find specific features on the same page as general text.

Greno Industries is another Industrial Website Design and web development project to add to the roster. Take a look and give us a call if your happy with what you see.
