How often do you stop and notice letters, typography, or everyday symbols? If you’re not a font nerd, the answer is probably not very often. The Ampersand is a blog dedicated entirely to different looks, styles, and uses of the ampersand (this –> &) in everything from logos to street signs.

Lately I have a Typography crush. Anything made from letters seems to intrigue me. Logos created only in type, sans illustrations, hand drawn or computerized—I just like letters.
