Like many small businesses, Trans-Border Global Freight Systems uses numerous designers for their marketing materials. So when they called us, I was walked through their museum of past folders, tradeshow banners, mailers, and cards. None bad, but lacking a real message, any consistency, and a lot of imagery of planes, trains, and automobiles.
Shannon-Rose Design worked with Trans-Border once before and with great results, but now TBGFS wanted to create a brand identity that separated them from their competition. They offer custom solutions to complex global transport for corporate needs. They also provide all the same services as the big boys, FedEx and UPS, such as proprietary tracking software.
We wanted to focus on a consistent sales message, design standards, and use their logo in a consistent way. Their logo had a different look in each marketing piece until now–– it’s recreated so they have a consistent copy for this and future work.
The brochure was an entire concept that we hope will continue to be used in the future. Shannon-Rose Design created the concept and wrote all the copy. Using this message in a consistent way on all future projects will help clients understand what they do well, and give their sales force a consistent sales approach. Naturally, we left in lots of pictures of planes trains and automobiles.
The final brochure was Printed by Digital Page Printing in Albany, NY.
