Local Saratoga Springs hair salon, Hair Creations, is running a 6-month long giveaway: weekly makeovers to a woman who is voted on via their Facebook page.

Women are nominated and their photos and “stories” are posted on the salon’s Facebook page, where voting lasts during the week. We’ve found Facebook giveaways are an incredible way to increase your fan base and spread the word about your brand; Ruby & Quiri’s Freebie Fridays giveaway is still going strong, and inching up on 5,000 fans, from the look of things.

The giveaway started this month, so it will be interesting to see how their 500+ fans grows from here.
