Shannon-Rose Design created a new logo and branding elements for the Saratoga Springs History Museum. We worked with Jamie Parillo, the museum executive director, several years ago when we developed a Tryst Website for them. The new logo is based on the ornamentation above the windows on the Canfield Casino located in Congress Park in Saratoga Springs.
Since most of the brochure production is created by their staff, all we had to do was create templates for rack brochures, booklet covers and business cards. The design was made very simple and flexible, making it easy to change and update while not losing brand consistency over time.
THE LOGO THAT DIDN’T MAKE THE CUT:

I also thought I would show the other submission that didn’t make the cut. I liked both designs and would have been happy no matter their final choice.
As always, it was great working with the Saratoga History Museum. They are a big part of the Saratoga Community and a perfect client for our Passion Project program that is designed to help community programs who are looking for avenues to communicate to their audience.
