How I became a fan of Rae Dunn’s work is a little bewildering even to me. I’m not a potter, nor do I work with clay, but I was doing some research and landed on her site. Ray’s work in simple and has an Americana flair to it. The design, the artwork, the color palette, the production methods are all universal and connect in their candor. She doesn’t rely on perfection to attract attention, but each piece is exceptionally original. Every plate or cup is hand formed, with its own particular features. The collection is extraordinary.

Rae Dunn is quite prolific in her work, she invites you into her daily life and work process by showing sketches, design influences, and production of her work. She also self promotes, and sells her work through her blog and on her Etsy store.
